My Journey

I have been taking pictures with a small digital camera all my life. Photography was my biggest hobbies. I created numerous memories through photography while visiting many countries with my family.

When I moved to Texas, while exploring several majors for my college degree, a counselor suggested photography. I had not thought about photography as a future career before but it all made sense to find a major that I actually love and that I can excel at.

Photography connects me to my grandfather who spent his life travelling around the globe and sharing his experience with all his grandchildren; he used to also take many photos when we were on trips together, which made me really happy.  It is a common thing that I share with my grandfather, who is also my role model. His moto in life was which he imparted with me is that words don’t explain what is really going on, but images do. Thus, I feel like through my images, I am explaining who I am as a person and how the world is through my lens.
